On Tuesday 14th November Year 6 visited Eden Camp. This linked to our History topic of WW2 and also our English topic of biographies- we are researching and writing about Anne Frank.
The children came in some amazing costumes dressed as evacuees and the adults made fantastic land girls! The children had a fantastic time visiting all the huts and learning about lots of different WW2 events. One of the children’s favourites huts was ‘The Blitz’ hut where they were able to walk around a recreation of a street and house that had been bombed.
The children were also lucky enough to watch a puppet show that included songs and stories from the time.
The children behaved exceptionally and a great day was had by all!
