Children across the country experienced unprecedented disruption to their education as a result of coronavirus (COVID-19) between March – July 2020. Those from the most vulnerable and disadvantaged backgrounds are likely to be amongst those hit hardest. The impact of any lost time in education is likely to be substantial and the scale of our response this academic year must match the scale of the challenge.

Catch-Up Funding has been designed to mitigate the effects of the unique disruption caused by coronavirus (COVID-19), the grant will only be available for the 2020 to 2021 academic year. In planning the use of this Catch-Up Funding, we have referred to the evidence within the EEF guidance. We have taken into consideration a tiered approach to school planning in order to ensure we focus upon those aspects which it is believed will rapidly address the priorities and barriers identified for our school.
