The Takeaway Theatre Company visited Headlands School on Friday 6th October. KS2 pupils joined them in the hall to view a performance of a production called ‘Hope’. Years 5 and 6 also had the opportunity to take part in workshops with the actors. Many very important messages were shared with the children regarding anti-bullying and there was a specific focus upon the correct use of online games and social media. The children really enjoyed the production. Jessica in 6 Cedar said; ‘My favourite part of the performance was when Hope sang in the talent show. I really liked that part because it was really funny and it helped me to try and be more confident like her!’
